Our path...
Language is an indispensable tool of human thinking, expression, communication. Therefore, LIWC, which analyzes language use, provides opportunities to look into all aspects of psychological processes. Since LIWC was developed, it has been applied to various research topics in hundreds of published studies (Tausczik & Pennebaker, 2010). Welcome to join the camp! Traditional Chinese LIWC dictionary (TC-LIWC) was established in 2012 and officially published (Huang et al, 2012) under the authorization of Professor Pennebaker. The Simplified Chinese LIWC dictionary has also been recently completed. We have examined their reliabilities and validities and now opened for research purposes. We believe that the establishment of these Chinese versions will open a new path to study psychological phenomenon in the Chinese environment. We look forward to all comments and feedbacks to improve this tool together. ※ Notice! This Chinese LIWC dictionary is "not a software". It's necessary to buy the LIWC software if you want to use Chinese LIWC dictionary. LIWC:https://liwc.wpengine.com/ |
